For High School Guidance Counselors

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Mount Aloysius College website! We appreciate the work you do to help your students in their post-secondary plans. This page is designed with you and your students in mind. If there is something we are missing, please let us know at admissions@mtaloy.edu

Well-known for our distinctive nursing and health care programs, criminology and pre-professional study, we want you to know that Mount Aloysius College offers so much more. We have more than 70 strong undergraduate and graduate programs and concentrations with many receiving regional and national attention. Mount Aloysius is an accredited comprehensive college with a full range of undergraduate and graduate programs designed to broaden your horizons and help you launch a rewarding career.

The emphasis is on hands-on experience, challenging class work and personal attention. Classes are small, so professors spend extra time with each student, and faculty advisors are available whenever you have a question or need a hand. Mount Aloysius College values a comprehensive and liberal arts education. Therefore, the College has developed core goals and learning outcomes as well as core course requirements in both the Bachelor's and Associate's degrees for its matriculated students.

Life outside the classroom includes over 100 clubs and organizations, campus ministry and NCAA III athletics. Volunteer service is an integral part of the Mount Aloysius College learning experience.
