Dual Enrollment

The Admissions Committee strongly suggests high school students to enroll for college credits in high school. High school students participating in dual-enrollment programs with an accredited college or university may be eligible to transfer earned credits to Mount Aloysius College, using the following
criteria:

  1. The course(s) must be similar in content to course(s) offered by Mount Aloysius College;
  2. A final class grade of "C" or better must be earned;
  3. The college courses must be taught in academic disciplines offered at Mount Aloysius College;
  4. An official transcript from the college must be submitted to Mount Aloysius College, indicating all courses attempted and grades received.

Decisions on transferring credit for dual-enrollment programs rest solely with Mount Aloysius College and will be considered final upon matriculation.
Mount Aloysius College may award college credit for Advanced Placement Exams (AP Exams) and for College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams as defined by the College Board. Credits awarded are based on the student meeting or exceeding a minimum score as established by the Mount Aloysius College Registrar. Credit is placed on the student’s academic record by the Registrar upon receipt of official verification of test results from the College Board.
