The John J. “Jack” Foley, Sr. Scholarship is funded at the $50,000 level. Students applying for this Scholarship must demonstrate financial need and be active student- leaders who participate in the life of the College–both in and out of the classroom. President Foley’s parents encouraged their children to get a college education, something that was not available to his parents. Eleven of the 12 Foley children achieved that goal. Foley said that “It is our hope that this scholarship, in our father’s name, will help other “first-generation-to-college” families to achieve this goal. My dad would be delighted to know that someone else’s child is getting the chance to go to college in his name – I know my mother is!”
