DuBois/Cresson, Pa. – The Mount Aloysius College Office of Graduate and Continuing Education will host an Open House for area residents interested in becoming a Radiologic Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician on Wednesday, March 19th at 6:30 p.m.  The Open House will take place in the Central Resource Center Building Assembly Room, next to the DuBois Regional Medical Center (DRMC).

The Open House is an ideal opportunity to learn more about the careers in medical imaging/radiography and medical laboratory technician.  Frank Crouse, vice president for enrollment management for Mount Aloysius College explains. “Our partnership with the DRMC offers a great clinical environment for hands-on learning in the expanding fields of medical imaging/radiography and medical laboratory technician.” Mr. Crouse added, “Mount Aloysius College and DRMC offer a solid foundation in the liberal arts, medical laboratory, medical imaging, and an in-depth knowledge of patient care.  Students can earn an Associate Degree close to home with these great classes held at the DRMC.”

Faculty will be on hand to answer specific program questions.  Participants will learn about the affordability of a Mount Aloysius College education; 94 percent of Mount Aloysius students received some form of financial aid.
