Greenfield drained 30 points in a 92-72 win over Franciscan, shooting at 68.8 percent from the floor, 60 percent from behind the arc, and 100 percent from the line, while adding four steals on the defensive end. He followed that performance with 35 points in a Senior Day win versus D’Youville in front of a large contingent of family and friends. In a 95-72 win, he narrowly missed a triple-double with 10 rebounds and seven assists. On the week, Greenfield averaged 32.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals.

On the season, Greenfield, a transfer from Division II Francis Marion University, broke the conference record for points per game and moved up to fourth in NCAA Division III in scoring average. In addition, Greenfield set a new program record for points per game in a single season. At the conclusion of the AMCC regular seasonon Saturday, Greenfield ranked first in the conference in points per game (26) and fourth in three-point percentage (44.6).
Greenfield is the first men’s basketball player in school history to be given this national honor. He carried the Mounties throughout the 2013-2014 campaign with his scoring prowess, enabling the team to stay in the conference playoff race up until the final day of the regular season. He notched 40-point games against both Penn State-Altoona and Medaille in January.
He was also extremely consistent as he reached the 20-point plateau in 18 of the Mounties final 19 contests.
