The MAC Event Support Team is a pilot project to develop an ongoing student team to work with the Facilities department and Conference Coordinator in the set up and tear down required for events on campus. The month of April is an especially heavy time for special events around campus and additional assistance is necessary to ensure the campus community can hold all of their year end of year celebrations. Position title: Student Security Officer
Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with an adjustment to hours to cover special events occurring later in the evening and some weekends. The number of positions available at this department varies based on the amount of hours granted to the student and their schedule as it relates to the times available at the department. Duties include parking enforcement, traffic control, assisting visitors with directions, data entry using department specific parking software, photo ID processing, parking permit sales, dispatching of officers, assisting with fire and intrusion alarms, and assisting with research of information for reports and projects.

Position title: Theatre Office Assistant
Office assistant will assist with mailings, filing, and maintaining databases as they related to the theatre department. They may also be called to assist with production needs such as running posters, assisting with costumes and/or scenery construction and helping with stage properties. The individual needs to be dependable and have a working knowledge of the theatre, is preferred.

Position title: Theatre Production Assistant
The Production Assistant will help to maintain the production spaces for the theatre department. Duties will include cleaning and organizing the scenic and costume areas, pulling costumes and props, building scenery and costumes, repairing any pieces needed for the current production. The individual should have a working knowledge of the theatre as well as an understanding of stagecraft and costuming.
