Mount Aloysius College Commencement Speaker is Judge Guido Calabresi

Mount Aloysius College Board of Trustees and President Tom Foley has announced that Guido Calabresi, senior judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and former Dean of Yale Law School, will deliver the College’s Commencement Address to the Class of 2015. Guido Calabresi is an Italian-born legal scholar, jurist and author with a remarkable life-story. His family escaped fascist Italy for New England in 1939. He has been a full-professor of law—Yale’s youngest ever—since 1959 and co-founded the specialized field of law and economics. Foley studied under Calabresi while he was a student at Yale Law School. The Mount Aloysius College Commencement will take place Saturday, May 9th in the Athletic Convocation and Wellness Center.
