Anonymous $500,000 Gift to Mount Aloysius Will Memorialize Mercy Sister

Mount Aloysius Science Program Receives Palumbo Charitable Trust Grant

Cresson, Pa. – Mount Aloysius College’s Science students will see a lot brighter because of a $50,000 gift from the A.J. & Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust. The donation will upgrade the microscopes in the College’s Pierce Hall science building and add several more. Mount Aloysius College has a long history of support from the A.J. & Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust. The organization supported the College $70,000 towards science equipment for Pierce Hall over the past two years. In 2007, a $25,000 gift helped in the restoration of historic Alumni Hall.
