The Telehealth-Enhanced Homecare study was the first research study conducted for the Nursing Telehealth Research Applications Initiative. The focus of this clinical trial was to develop and implement telenursing care utilizing telehealth technologies that could provide comprehensive, quality healthcare services to chronically-ill, homecare patients in an effective and cost-efficient manner.
