Nursing Technology Labs at Mount Aloysius College provide an arena for student nurses to practice the skills needed to prepare them for future practice.  Simulation-based learning allows students to become proficient in nursing procedures in a safe environment without compromising patient safety in an actual clinical experience. 

Situations that students may never encounter in their clinical rotations can be simulated in the lab where faculty can allow students to make mistakes safely and see the consequences of their errors. In addition, simulation-based learning with high-fidelity manikins may facilitate the development of analytical and organizational skills required by future practitioners.
