An observation instrument was developed for testing purposes that would allow for reliability and validity of performance evaluations.  Performance evaluation scores for the two groups were compared.  Performance mean scores for the high fidelity manikin condition were higher than the performance mean for the low fidelity manikin condition, which supported the hypothesis. It also appeared that male students profited a little more from utilization of the high-fidelity manikin condition than the female students.

Further reporting of outcomes will follow a replicated study to be conducted in the Fall semester 2007.
