PurposePurpose

The Virtual Clinical Practicum examined three overall evaluation approaches and objectives:

1. To assess the Mount Aloysius College student and faculty perceptions of telehealth technology as a venue for a clinical experience including evaluating the adequacy/comparison of the technology approach
2. To obtain students' qualitative feedback for comparing the virtual experience with an onsite clinical experience and to assess their response to the technical and educational process approach
3. To obtain qualitative feedback from the military nurse preceptors and MAC faculty regarding the satisfaction of the VCP experience compared to having students onsite for clinical rotations, as well as their response to the technical and educational process approach
