The Beta Test of The Virtual Clinical Practicum® took place at the United States Army Burn Unit, also known as the US Army Institute of Surgical Research, (USAISR), located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This setting allowed students to learn, observe, and become involved in patient care situations in clinical areas not readily available locally.
