Speaker Bio: Jacob Weller is a third year student at Juniata College. He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a program emphasis in Philosophy and Religion. When Jake is not living in his geodesic dome on the campus of Juniata College, he lives in Lusby, Maryland.

Summary of Program: An intense interest in the emerging field of micro-architecture and its application and philosophies, led a Juniata College student to develop plans to construct, and spend the 2009-2010 academic year living in a geodesic dome on campus. The dome, constructed by 100% recyclable materials and requiring no foundation nor any other permanent connections, illustrates, that low cost/low impact living is indeed possible, even for a full-time student!
