Admissions and Financial Aid Timeline
January/September
Sophomore Year to Rising Senior Status
- Visit campus/attend an open house
- Collect admissions facts and publications
September/October
Seniors
- Submit a Mount Aloysius College admissions application (Include SAT/ACT scores, transcripts, etc.)
- Submit SAT/ACT scores and QPA for pre-award estimate
- Attend an open house
November/December
- Receive letter of admissibility
- Receive pre-award information
- Student and parent (if applicable) should apply for PIN # at www.pin.ed.gov
- Early deposit deadline for Nursing and Health majors
January/February
- Nursing and Health Studies majors encouraged to have applications in by January 1
- Nursing majors encouraged to pay deposits and commit to attend in the fall
- Submit tax information and complete FAFSA form (Call the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships if you need assistance)
- Mercy Presidential Scholarship deadline is February 28
March/April/May
- Vox Nova (Choir) reception (Scholarship Funded)
- Official financial aid award released
- Attend accepted student day in March or re-visit MAC with your family
- Priority FAFSA deadline is April 1
- If you are selected for verification please send the following:
- Obtain an IRS tax TRANSCRIPT for both the student and parents from the IRS or use the IRS Data retrieval tool through your FAFSA form
- completed verification worksheet (Call the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships with questions)
- Copies of all W-2's
- Pay tuition deposit by April 1 - Refundable until
- May 1 for students who deposit on time (This guarantees your place in the new class)
- Housing is guaranteed until April 1
June/July
- Receive final award letters
- Submit final transcripts
- Apply for student and alternative loans
- Receive bill
- Call Controller’s Office for assistance in determining bill or payment plans
