Mount Aloysius is Surprisingly Affordable, With Generous Financial Aid and Scholarships

A high quality private college education is within your reach.

Tuition cost and room and board at Mount Aloysius is more than reasonable.  While most private college in the United States have become extremely expensive - Mount Aloysius College remains in the top five (5) percent for excellent price and affordability.   More than 94% of students receive some form of financial aid, scholarships and grants.   Talk to our counselors about the many sources of financial aid available.

Mount Aloysius College awards more than nine million dollars (all aid sources) of financial aid assistance each year. You could receive a piece of that nine million.

Important Financial Aid Dates

To apply for financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, as soon after January 1 as possible. Mount Aloysius College priority FAFSA deadline is April 1 each year. The Financial Aid Office strongly suggests you and your parents (if applicable) have your Federal Income taxes completed before you file your FAFSA.  ***Those students who submit their FAFSA to the federal processor by April 1st will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 tuition scholarship. Two scholarships will be awarded each year. One will be given to a new, full-time student and one to a returning, full-time student.

The FAFSA may be filed online. FAFSA worksheets are available at the Financial Aid Office,  FAFSA website or your high school guidance office. (Our FAFSA code is 003302.) Each year you will need to file a new FAFSA while attending Mount Aloysius.

To apply for the PHEAA State Grant, complete and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid by the May 1 deadline.

Remember, Mount Aloysius College has a preferred/priority deadline of April 1.  We recommend that all students apply for financial aid as early as possible, so that we can consider your eligibility for available funds.
