This scholarship was established in 1993 for students in the Business program by Adelaide G. Heverly Welge, in honor of the Sisters of Mercy who taught in the Altoona area schools.

This scholarship was established in 2002 by Adele Kupchella, an alumna of Mount Aloysius in honor of her parents, Alan and Regina Kiel.

This scholarship was initiated by Jack and Cathy Anderson in 2002 to provide financial support for students. The Andersons are long-time friends of Mount Aloysius and firm believers in the value of Catholic higher education. This scholarship is arranged through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.

This scholarship was established by Richard "Dick" Hanley in memory of his wife, Anna Marie (Kissling) Hanley, who graduated from Mount Aloysius in 1950. Dick wanted to honor his wife's love of Mount Aloysius by establishing this scholarship to support needy students.

This scholarship was established by family and friends of Bob Commers, a Physical Therapist Assistant student who died in 1996. He was well known in the Johnstown area due to his volunteer work with several community agencies and because he broke the Guinness Book world record for continuously jumping rope.

To honor his late wife's memory, retired Altoona businessman, Anthony Misciagna, established this scholarship in 2002.
- Students must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's or associate degree program at Mount Aloysius College.
- Graduates of the Misciagna Challenge Program of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown will be given first consideration.
- Other students meeting these criteria, but not graduates of the Misciagna Challenge Program, shall receive secondary consideration.
- Students shall demonstrate financial need according to the guidelines established by the Mount Aloysius College Financial Aid Office.
- Maintain a minimum of 2.50 GPA.
- Must be a member of one student service club each semester throughout the student's college career and demonstrate involvement in other co-curricular activities at Mount Aloysius College.

This scholarship, established in 1989 by the Catholic Daughters of America, provides for deserving students with need.

Set up in 2006 by the organizers of the annual Cresson Heritage Days event as a way of giving something tangible back to the community in appreciation for its support over the years, this scholarship is intended for a non-traditional student. The student must reside in the area served by the Penn Cambria school district.

- Non-traditional student, defined as having a break in education following high school of at least 1 year and having attained the age of at least 25.
David Goodman, Jr., Mr. Goodman's grandson, and the President of D. C. Goodman, Inc. of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, established this scholarship in 2004. The Goodman family sincerely believes in the importance of a values-based education and wishes to provide residents of Huntingdon County with the opportunity to attend Mount Aloysius College.

This scholarship was established in April of 2008 by the family of Megan McLanahan to honor her personal and professional accomplishments, and to inspire other mobility challenged individuals to pursue successful careers and lives. Students must demonstrate financial need and have a mobility challenged disability, or a disability as defined by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This scholarship was established in 1991 by the owners of Damin Printing Co. to help students in the Physical Therapy Program and the Early Childhood Education program.

Established in 1999, this scholarship is the result of Donald and Anne's vision for support of Catholic education. During their lifetime, they served as model community citizens and were supporters of numerous charitable organizations in the region.

This scholarship was established in 1986 by Dorothy Wirt of Altoona, Pennsylvania, one of the clinical founders of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Mount Aloysius.

This scholarship was established in 1993 by Dr. Heide Sedwick, a former member of the faculty at Mount Aloysius, in honor of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, a pioneer in the field of death and dying. She operates the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Center in Headwaters, Virginia, a non-profit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to the enhancement of life and growth through the practice of unconditional love.

This scholarship, established in 2001, is the result of Dr. M. Jayne Kimlin's vision for the support of Catholic Higher Education at Mount Aloysius College, as well as that of her family. Dr. Kimlin received an associate degree in chemistry from Mount Aloysius in 1944. She pursued advanced degrees at the Pennsylvania State University. Most of her life was dedicated to the teaching profession. Dr. Kimlin was a loyal, involved and generous alumna of Mount Aloysius College. She served on various committees and at the time of her death in November 1998 she was a member of the President's Advisory Council.

Dr. Marian Kirsch graduated from Mount Aloysius Academy and was the first woman from Cambria County to earn a Ph.D. She went on to teach at Mount Aloysius, University of Pittsburgh, and St. Francis College and served as President of the Executive Board of the Alumni Association at Mount Aloysius College for a number of terms. Dr. Kirsch's husband, Gerald, and their children established the scholarship in her memory.

This scholarship was established in 1994 in honor of Elsie D. Seymour. Elsie Seymour was born in Ireland and came to America in 1909. She was a member of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, and was a 50-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court of St. Rita, of which she was Grand Regent, District Deputy and State Regent. In 1955, she was honored by Pope Pius with the "Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice" cross for outstanding service to the Church.

This scholarship was established in 1984 by his family to honor the memory of George Anderson Wolf, President of Wolf Furniture Company from 1918-1965, and leader in many civic, business, cultural and religious organizations.

The wife and children of the late "Barney Barnhart," founder of NPC, Inc. (formerly News Printing Company), established this scholarship in 2004. NPC, Inc. is a major document solutions company in central Pennsylvania. As Mr. Barnhart was an adult learner himself, the scholarship is for the benefit of non-traditional students.

This scholarship was established by the family of Hazel Jones Slater to provide financial support for nursing students at Mount Aloysius College.

This scholarship was established in 1994 to honor the Sisters of Mercy who taught the children of Howard and Irene Mack (Robert, John, Helen, Donald, Gerald, Janet, Charles, and Thomas) at St. Mark's Catholic School in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Created by longtime College supporters Jack and Jenny Calandra, this scholarship provides financial aid support for students. Both Jack and Jenny are well known throughout Central Pennsylvania for their active work and support of non-profit organizations.
- Preference will be given to employees of Cresson Steel Company or Keystone Bolt Company. If there are no applicants from either company, the scholarship will be awarded to any student(s) in need.
This scholarship was established in 1989 by Mary Jane Dallard, class of 1925, in memory of John Edward and Rebecca Jane Drenning, her parents.

This scholarship was established by family and friends to honor Julie Riley Hale, a second year Nursing student, who died in 1996. The scholarship preserves her memory and acknowledges her accomplishments and dedication as a student. She was known for her willingness to help others and was a very positive role model.

This scholarship was established in memory of Kathy Coakley who, in fostering the development of her own children and pursuing her charitable and social work, was a lifelong advocate for the critical importance of education.

Established by Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. in 2001, this endowed scholarship honors Leonard S. and Mary E. Fiore. Longtime supporters of Catholic values and higher education, the Fiore family seeks to assist a student graduating from Bishop Guilfoyle High School or the other Catholic high schools from the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese.
- Preference shall be given to a graduating senior from Bishop Guilfoyle High School, Altoona, PA.
- The student shall demonstrate financial need according to the guidelines established by the College Financial Aid Office.
- First preference will be given to a person enrolling as a full-time student in a bachelor's degree program, second preference to someone enrolling as a full-time student in an associate degree program.
- If there are no qualified Bishop Guilfoyle graduates in a given year, preference will first be offered to graduates from Bishop McCort High School or Bishop Carroll High School. After that, preference will be extended to applicants who reside in Blair County.
Established in 1999 by Lou and Marcia Guzzi, this scholarship is a result of their involvement with Mount Aloysius and their personal interest in providing access to higher education for those in our region. Following Lou's untimely death in December, 2000, the scholarship fund was enhanced through an outpouring of memorial gifts.

This scholarship was established in 1995 by faculty, friends, family and former students to honor M. Teresa Mohler, Assistant Professor, upon her retirement after 18 years of dedicated service in the Occupational Therapy Assistant department at Mount Aloysius.

In memory of Martha Wolf Dillon, mother of Mount Aloysius College President, Sister Mary Ann Dillon, this scholarship was established in 2005. A wise woman who valued all that educational opportunity offers, Martha was particularly interested in giving those whose resources are modest the chance to pursue a college education.

This scholarship was initiated by the Mount Aloysius nursing faculty in 1992 and was completely endowed in 1994 with gifts from alumni, the Cambria County Federation of Women's Clubs and friends and family of Mary G. Bionaz. The scholarship is named in memory of Mrs. Bionaz, a Portage-area nurse who devoted much time and effort to helping students fund their nursing education.

Established by Dr. Norbert and Mary McManus in 1999, this scholarship honors Mary for her lifetime of work in the medical field as a registered nurse. Their intent was to help those with financial need achieve their educational goals in the nursing field.

This scholarship was established in 1992 in memory of Michael John Kuhar, a Mount Aloysius Occupational Therapy student who died in 1992.

This scholarship was established by the Cresson Corporation of the Sisters of Mercy to honor the memory of their foundress, Sr. Catherine McAuley. The Sisters of Mercy were founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1831 by Sr. Catherine McAuley, an heiress who used her fortune to serve the poor, sick and uneducated, especially women and children. At present, the scholarship is enhanced through the generosity of the Sisters of Mercy of the Dallas Regional Community.

This Scholarship was established in an effort to offset the costs of textbooks for students, the Alumni Association now provides book grants to students with financial need.

This scholarship was established in 1996 to honor Ray and Louise Walker, long-time friends and avid supporters of Mount Aloysius College.

Dr. John Sheedy and his wife, Mary, created this scholarship fund. Dr. Sheedy's involvement with Mount Aloysius spans more than four decades and includes service as Chair of the Board of Trustees. This fund was established in memory of Reverend Morgan M. Sheedy, the great uncle of Dr. Sheedy. Morgan Sheedy was involved in the development of Mount Aloysius Academy in the early 1900's.

This scholarship was established in 1992 by Robert L. Hite, President of the Altoona-based Hite Company, in memory of his father, founder of the Hite Company.

Sam and Sara Valenty established this scholarship in 2005 to benefit business students at Mount Aloysius College. The Valenty's are very successful Northern Cambria business operators and strong supporters of higher education and economic development in the region.

This scholarship was established in 1986 to honor Sister Camille Marie d'Invilliers on her 100th birthday and to recognize her service to God, her decades of commitment to the students of Mount Aloysius and her outstanding contribution to fine arts. Sister Camille Marie, who died in 1992, taught music at Mount Aloysius for 53 years.

This scholarship was established in 1996 to honor Sister Charlene on her retirement as Registrar of Mount Aloysius, a position she held for 23 years. As a tribute to her dedication to students, the faculty and staff of Mount Aloysius have funded the scholarship.

This scholarship was initiated by two anonymous alumni to celebrate Sister Fides' 90th birthday and to honor her many years of service to Mount Aloysius. It was funded by her numerous friends and former students.

This scholarship was established in 1996 to honor Sister Urban, who taught business in the college for many years. She was a soft-spoken yet very persuasive woman who never asked more of her students than she gave of herself.

This scholarship was personally established by members of the College's Board of Trustees, and others, to honor the ten year anniversary of Sr. Mary Ann Dillon's presidency.

This scholarship was established in 1997 to honor the memory of Sr. Mary Ann McCue. She was a 1921 graduate of Mount Aloysius Academy and was a former Mount Aloysius President.

This scholarship was established in 1996 to honor Sister Assumpta, a chemistry teacher here at Mount Aloysius for 36 years. Sister Assumpta, who died in 1995, was fondly remembered by former students as "Sarge" because of her rigorous standards. She is also remembered for her dedication to God and her encouragement of students to grow spiritually and academically.

Established in 1975, this scholarship honors Sr. Mary Magdalene O'Reilly, who served as a teacher and also as Superior at Mount Aloysius for 12 years. She was noted for her abilities in finances, building, and remodeling. She was a teacher and principal at Bishop Guilfoyle in Altoona and died in 1974.

This scholarship was established in 1998 to honor the memory of Sr. Mary Thaddea Seymour. Sr. Thaddea was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1907 and came to America in 1909. She was an English teacher at the College known for her ingenuity in getting students to learn things that were helpful in life.

Walter M. Hauk Sr. established this scholarship in 2000 in honor of his sister, Ursula. Sr. Ursula served as the President of Mount Aloysius College from 1966 to 1972 and was well known for her keen judgment and her warm smile. Her vision and commitment kept the school focused on its mission in the Mercy tradition.

This scholarship was established in 1986 by family and friends in memory of Sister Mary deLourdes Rivers. An Academy graduate, class of 1921, she became an English teacher and librarian serving at Catholic schools in the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese. She became principal of St. Mark's in Altoona and later Provincial Administrator of the Scranton Province. She served as Superior at Mount Aloysius and was later very active in the Alumni Association, serving as Alumni Director for many years.

This scholarship was established in 1975 to honor Sister Mary deSales Farley, a teacher at Bishop Guilfoyle High School in Altoona from 1928-1936. She became principal of Mount Aloysius Academy in 1936 and eventually founded Mount Aloysius Junior College. She served as the College's president for several years. Sr. deSales Farley died in 1972.

This scholarship was established in 1993 by Dr. Norbert and Mary McManus of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in honor of Ruth Hollen, RSM. Sr. Ruth Hollen is currently the archivist for the Dallas Regional Community in Dallas, PA. Sr. Ruth and Mary McManus are first cousins who both chose a career in nursing. The scholarship is a result of their combined interest in helping students who decide to pursue a nursing career.

This scholarship was established in 1990 in memory of Sr. Silverius Shields, born in Lewistown, PA, in 1932. She entered the convent of the Sisters of Mercy in Cresson on her 25th birthday. She taught Latin and business at Mount Aloysius Academy. She was instrumental in the development of Mount Aloysius Junior College and was a registrar at the college for many years while also continuing to teach. She earned a Masters degree in sociology and accounting, and a doctorate in economics. In 1970, she was elected Mother Provincial of the Sisters of Mercy and in 1973 accepted the National Directorship of the Federation of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. In 1980, she returned to Mount Aloysius College to become the campus archivist. She died in 1989.

This scholarship was established in 2006 by the Sisters of Mercy to serve as an enduring witness to the concerns of the Sisters for "the economically poor of the world, especially women and children." While instilling the "Spirit of Mercy" in students, it is designed to enable them to complete their education and attain a degree.

Joseph T. and Dorothy E. Stasny, friends of Mount Aloysius College, established this scholarship through the Blair County Community Endowment. This scholarship is for students from high schools in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Huntingdon or Somerset Counties majoring in healthcare related fields.

Through the efforts of the Surgical Technology Program faculty and Institutional Advancement staff, this scholarship was established to give scholarship assistance to surgical technology students in their sophomore year of the program. The goal is to award a scholarship during the spring semester of a student's sophomore year who best fulfills the following:
- Enrollment in the second semester of the second year of the Surgical Technology Program.
- Top academic achievement based on the first-semester of their second year grade point average of all surgical technology courses combined (ST 104, ST 104L, and ST 104C).
Set up in 2005 by community leaders and friends of Mount Aloysius College in Clearfield County, this scholarship is available to any student who resides in the County. The scholarship was established due to the growing popularity of Mount Aloysius among prospective students from that area.

- Student must maintain satisfactory academic and behavioral standing.
The Wolf-Kuhn Foundation established this scholarship in 2004 for students from Blair, Bedford and Huntingdon Counties. The Foundation is a long-time friend of Mount Aloysius College and has been an especially ardent supporter of the arts, having assisted with the funding for the Wolf-Kuhn Gallery on campus.

This scholarship was established through a bequest gift from Ms. Fike's estate in 2007. Theresa was a 1943 graduate and had a great love of Mount Aloysius College and all students. She understood the financial difficulty that families encounter in funding an education and wanted to assist them. The fund is dedicated to her memory.
