College BillingCollege Billing
Whether you're paying tuition, fees, or room and board, the Controller's Office will assist you with college billing and payment policies.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Controller's Office is located on the first floor of the Mount Aloysius College Administration Building in Room 122. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Questions or comments relating to Controller's Office operations can be submitted via E-mail to ctrexler@mtaloy.edu or you can call 814-886-6473.
FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
Students must complete financial arrangements prior to admittance to classes and residence halls. Financial arrangements are completed through the Controller's Office by taking the balance on the student's account, deducting financial aid, and paying the balance, if any. An outstanding balance from a previous semester must be paid in full. A payment plan is available.
When financial arrangements are complete, a student's account has been "cleared" through the Controller's Office, and the student is officially registered at the college. Classes change from "scheduled" to registered.
CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
The college accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Check Card credit transactions.
DUE DATES
Bills are to be PAID and CLEARED at least one week prior to the start of classes.
BOOKS
Books may be purchased at the campus bookstore and are in addition to the cost of tuition. Because surpluses from grants and loans are not available at the beginning of the semester, excess financial aid may not be used to purchase books on credit.
MEAL PLANS
All resident students are charged for a 19 meals-per-week board plan. The college offers 19 meals-per-week and 15 meals-per-week board plans. Arrangements may be made through the Dean of Students, if students prefer the 15 meals-per-week plan.
LATE PAYMENT FEE
The college will charge a late fee of $35 to a student's account if the semester billing is unpaid or not cleared by the due date.
