Facilities & Buildings

Ten buildings compose the administration, academic, and residence areas of Mount Aloysius College's 165-acre campus.

Main Administration Building
Over a century old, the Administration Building is the heart of campus.
A famous tower tops this grand, sprawling structure. It can be seen for miles around, especially at night, when its brilliant beacon lights up.
Built with bricks made with clay from the campus grounds and wood from surrounding forests, the Administration Building houses classrooms, labs, and offices.
There's a magnificent oak staircase, too, with a legend attached. If you walk up the stairs before you graduate...
Well, make sure you ask about that when you visit.

Cosgrave Student Center
Looking for fun and games? Or food? Or supplies and souvenirs? Or other students?
You'll find it all at Cosgrave Student Center.
Between classes, students meet in Cosgrave to play ping pong, pool, air hockey, video games, and foosball - or get a bite to eat in the Snack Bar - or shop in the Bookstore.
On your way to lunch in the cafeteria, stop by the ATM banking machine. Relax in the student lounge and watch your favorite program on a wide-screen TV or just hang out with friends.

Library
White pillars and wide windows gleam in the sun, welcoming you to a true high-tech information center, aptly called the Library.
Inside, vaulted ceilings rise up, up and away. Everything is bright and wide-open.
In the upstairs reading lounge, you can sink into comfortable chairs by windows with a sweeping view of the entire campus.
The place is beyond state-of-the-art. Computer workstations unlock extensive databases and lead you to the infinite resources of the internet.

Health and Phsyical Fitness Center
The Health and Physical Fitness Center is like a free fitness club for students at Mount Aloysius College.
The home of the Mounties intercollegiate basketball and volleyball teams, it's also a full-fledged fitness center.
Students shoot hoops and run laps in the gymnasium. They work out in the weight room, which is equipped with free weights, weight machines, a stair-stepper, exercise bike, and rowing machine. They can even take a "steam" in the sauna.
It's the perfect place to go after a day of classes and studying.
