Mount Aloysius Hosts Women’s Empowerment Day

Cresson, Pa. — Ladies grab your girlfriends and head to Mount Aloysius’ Women’s Empowerment Day. Mount Aloysius College Awarded Grant to Explore Science Pedagogy

Cresson, Pa. — Mount Aloysius College has been awarded a prestigious grant from the Council of Independent Colleges to attend the organization’s Seminar on Science Pedagogy. Only nine higher education institutes were selected nationally to participate in this seminar. Mounties participate in Day of Service

Cresson, PA – Mount Aloysius College students, staff, and faculty participated in the 5th Annual Mount Aloysius Day of Service on August 23, 2019. Locations included the Allegheny Portage Railroad National Park, the Lemon House, Cresson Lake Playhouse, John Paul II Manor, Cresson’s Veteran’s Park, Valewoods Farms, and the area surrounding campus. Mount Aloysius Announces New IT Department Chair

Cresson, Pa. — Mount Aloysius College is proud to announce that Kristi Smith has been hired as the Information Technology department chair. Smith will lead the college’s information technology and cybersecurity majors as well as oversee the college’s new, dedicated cybersecurity lab. Ms. Smith comes to the college after a 17 year tenure at Allegany College of Maryland.
