Through proactive initiatives designed to engage first year students with each other and the college, the Mount Aloysius Academic Preparation Program (MAAPP) is the foundation for a successful college experience at Mount Aloysius College. All MAAPP students take part in a two-day early arrival program, where they move into the Residence halls and make connections with other students, faculty, and staff at the College before other students arrive on campus.

The group of students that go through MAAPP Early Arrival with you will become friends that will last a lifetime. MAAPP students have two classes together (one in the fall and one in the spring) and stay connected with each other through social activities throughout not only MAAPP Early Arrival, but for their whole first year.
