“I’m currently a PhD candidate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the data collection phase of my dissertation with an anticipated graduation date before September 2022. I just transitioned from adjunct clinical faculty to full-time faculty. I find teaching nursing students very gratifying, especially when the concepts from theory “click” with the bedside experiences on the unit. I have 4 grown married children, 2 who are local, and 2 who live out of town. I also have 5 grandchildren, only 2 are local. I live in Johnstown with my pet parakeet, Jenny. I play keyboards and sing at my local church a couple times a month. Music has always been a source of joy in my life! I also love to knit, a skill I learned from my mom. I also love other crafts that I’ve learned over the years (crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, sewing). I enjoy reading, walking in nature and watching birds.”
