Gale DeArmin has been an interpreter since 2008 and an educator since 2010.  Gale is a lifelong learner who is constantly engaged in professional development opportunities.  She has earned her National Interpreter Certification (NIC), is qualified to interpret in Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC), and completed the Certificate in Healthcare Interpreting (CHI), Project C.L.I.M.B, and IRIS.  Gale sees ASL Interpreting as a lifestyle choice. She has taught all six of her children sign language, has been on Deaf cruises, Deaf schools in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, and regularly attends ASL community events.  Gale’s research interests focus on interviewing stakeholders,developing a proactive plan to implement feedback, to fill knowledge gaps, following up, and repeating the process.
