I enjoy teaching the following courses at Mount Aloysius College: Human Anatomy and Physiology, Human Muscle Anatomy, Human Biology and Nutrition. I have been teaching at MAC since 2007 (5 years part-time as an adjunct, 7 years full time). My background is in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders). My philosophy is to bring lots of clinical connections when teaching my courses so that students grasp the information in a logical manner that they will retain for their future careers.
My interests include health and wellness as it relates to human anatomy and physiology. I also teach yoga and am especially interested in how complementary therapies such as yoga and meditation effect human physiology and wellbeing. My hobbies include the following activities: reading, tennis, pickle ball, ping pong, yoga, hiking, bicycling and traveling with my family.
