Accounting
at Mount Aloysius College
Bachelor’s Degree
An accounting degree at Mount Aloysius College is specifically designed to prepare students for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination and career advancement immediately after graduation. Many students take advantage of the 4+1 program enabling them to earn their MBA Degree in as little as 5 years, which also fulfills the 150 credit hours for the CPA.
We emphasize real-world experience – all students have the opportunity to volunteer with our on-campus tax preparation site with the VITA program, and participate in internships at area accounting firms.
A grounding in accounting gives students an excellent foundation for advancement in a variety of careers including corporate leadership, general business, finance, law, law enforcement, and government service.
