For a foundational education in scientific principles, a degree in natural science from Mount Aloysius College well-equips students for a variety of careers while providing students with an appreciation of the scientific method of inquiry.
With an associate’s in natural sciences, Mountie students have the option to claim one of several concentrations, such as pre-physician’s assistant, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, and pre-chiropractic.

- Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles of biology, chemistry, and physics.
- Be able to use the terminology of a life science and a physical science to demonstrate cognition, interpretation, and communication of information in the natural sciences.
- Employ the methods used by scientists to explore natural phenomena including observation, hypothesis development, measurement, data collection, experimentation, evaluation of evidence, and quantitative analysis.
