Greeter Services - Two sites available: Altoona Hospital Campus and/or Station Medical Center Student worker will greet and escort patients/visitors upon admission and discharge or provide directions to departments in the Medical Center. Will provide help with errands as needed. Students must be able to walk and push a wheelchair. Candidate should also have a neat appearance, good listening and communication skills, a positive attitude and a pleasing personality. Positions are available Monday through Sunday. Call for details on availability of hours. Orientation and training will be provided by the hospital.

 

Customer Service -  site location: UPMC Altoona Hospital.  Student worker will assist with discharging patients by wheelchair, delivering patient meal trays, transporting charts, and numerous other errands as needed by hospital departments.  Students must be able to walk and push a wheelchair.  Candidate should have a neat appearance, good listening and communication skills, a positive attitude and pleasing personality.  Positions are available Monday through Friday.  Call for details of availability of hours.  Orientation and training will be provided by the hospital.

 

Gift Shop Clerk - site location: UPMC Altoona Hospital. Student will ring up customers, stock merchandise, ticket new merchandise, tidy up shop, create displays, etc. Hours: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
