Assist the new Office of Government Relations, Alumni Affairs and Events with communications activities, graphic design, research, and data entry.  At times, student employee will support with creating reports, designing marketing materials, venue research, creating email blasts, compiling event supplies, and general clerical duties (copying, filing, sorting, running errands, etc.) Energy needed to design shareable graphics, sourced photos, banners, backgrounds, etc. Design of promotional poster for different social media platforms.  Update existing marketing materials, create spreadsheets, presentations, documents and files.  Organize and maintain electronic and other files and records.  Assist with tracking, analyzing and reporting government and alumni engagement.  Execute special projects and initiatives as assigned that support the strategic mission.   Confidentiality is essential. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access and Publisher.)  Experience using Photoshop is a plus.  Work hours will be scheduled around student's classes/depending on special events- weekend and evening hours sometimes available if the student is interested in flexing their schedule on occasion! Must have effective oral/written communication skills to communicate with a variety of stakeholders- very good work experience that is transferable to any industry after graduation!
