Student is required to plan and implement programming for baby boomers and seniors. This person would be tasked with developing relationships with potential outreach sites in the Roaring Spring service area. This would be a new program for the library. The student would be working in the community looking for partners and sponsorship. Preliminary research gained from a focus group could be used to develop appropriate programming for this age group. Student would have the opportunity to work with special needs children, low-income children and young adults. The intern would work alongside and report directly to the library director.
