Mount Aloysius College Lists Spring 2019 Dean’s List

Cresson, Pa. – Mount Aloysius College is proud to release the Dean’s List for Spring Semester, 2019. The Dean’s List is issued each semester. The Dean’s List honors students enrolled in 12 or more semester hours who have achieved a minimum 3.50 grade point average (GPA); or students enrolled in nine to 11 semester hours and earned a GPA of 3.70; or students enrolled in six to eight semester hours and earned a 3.9 GPA.   • Students in the early childhood education program receive some of the best hands-on experience they could possibly get in the MAC Learning Center, our on-site child care center. Students assist experienced preschool teachers with creating lesson plans, reading to children, assisting with crafts and snack time, and so much more.
  • Did you know that Bertschi Center used to be MAC's gym? When the ACWC was completed in 2014, Bertschi was renovated to include a multipurpose room, commuter lounge, study areas, and more. The walls of the cafe area in the center of the study lounge were created from the bleachers that were removed from the gym.  #MACFact 
  • Mountie ASL/EI majors learn fluency in one of the most used languages in the United States. In our state-of-the-art ASL/EI lab, students can practice their communication and interpreting skills using advanced recording and grading programs.   • The tools and programs taught in the digital forensics/cybersecurity program are used widely throughout the industry, from local security firms to the FBI. Under the direction of knowledgeable professors, students in the program learn the skills they need to succeed in a wide variety of careers in the digital world.
