1098-T forms are mailed to eligible students no later than January 31 st of every calendar year. Because the forms are mailed, students should promptly update their address information with the Registrar’s Office if a change occurs. IRS Form 1098-T is an informational form. Per IRS regulations, this form is provided by the college to help students determine eligibility for educational tax credits, such as The American Opportunity Credit or the Lifetime Learning Credit. A College Payment Plan is available to assist students in meeting their financial obligations. Payment plans can be set up on the MyMAC Portal Page using the Cashnet link or by calling the Business office at 814-886-6368. There is a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for the payment plan. You can contact our office anytime for an estimate, but to receive the most accurate estimate it is best to have your financial aid award and be registered for the upcoming semester.
No, when a student signs up for federal work study the student will earn a paycheck as they work. The student can use that paycheck as they best need to for college supplies and expenses.
In the event that a student’s aid and/or loans exceed the cost of tuition and fees charged to a student’s account, a student can contact the Business Office to get a Bookstore Voucher to use in the college’s Bookstore. In the event that a student’s aid and/or loans exceed the cost of tuition and fees charged to a student’s account, the college will issue a refund. Refunds are issued after the college officially receives the funding. Depending on the funding sources, this could take 8-10 weeks after the semester starts.
