Candidate must be available to work as needed according to our needs and student’s class schedule. Hours of operation are 7:30-5:00 M-F (Summer 7:30-4:30 M-F). Must be a good facilitator. Student will facilitate learning, have good communication, be a good adult-child conversationalist and promote productive play. Student will help to promote children as individuals and encourage independence and will be a good listener and positive role model. Will also assist with bathroom duties, lunch and snack time, general cleaning of facility and toys, outdoor equipment, etc. Student will also be required to read to children as part of the America Reads Program. As part of the program, student will be required to do training sessions on proper reading techniques and how to choose appropriate books. May also have opportunity to do craft and educational projects.
