We surpassed our goal by raising $9,215 for the Mount Aloysius Career Closet!

Giving Tuesday Logo

Mount Aloysius students are the future of the workforce with careers in business, health care, education, and many other fields.  The first impression can make or break an interview. This Giving Tuesday, the Goal is to raise $5,000 in a single day for the Mount Aloysius Career Closet.  The Career closet provides outfits to our students for job interviews from donations of clothing.

Gifts on #GivingTuesday will provide gift cards through the Career Closet so the student can purchase an entire new appropriate interview outfit (suit-shoes-ties-skirts-blouses) which can add up to $200 or more. Your gift can be the difference between a good and a bad interview. Dress our Mounties for success this #GivingTuesday!

See how your gift will make a difference!

Why I Give

claire kirsch

Claire Kirsch ’18, G’21

“While studying for my bachelor’s and masters’ I had the opportunity to combine my faith with learning, complete service, and see the change I was actively trying to create in the world. Mount Aloysius College is truly special. I continue to give to Mount Aloysius because my experience is not unique. When I donate, I ensure others will have the same chance at experiencing all Mount Aloysius has to offer.”

“Almost all of my personal giving is focused on education. I believe it’s a great investment and we need to lead by example.”

Mauvette Kiel

Mauvette Kiel O’Dowd ’58A, ’85

“I graduated from Mount Aloysius Academy when it was an all-girls Catholic high school and Jr. College. I returned to the Mount 25 years later after raising my eight children and graduated from Mount Aloysius Junior College with an Associate Degree. I was fortunate enough to get a scholarship from the Sisters of Mercy, which helped tremendously since four of my children were also in college. Now it’s my turn to give back.”
