Cresson, Pa. — Mount Aloysius College will once again host the Pennsylvania State Police and Cambria County Camp Cadet on Campus July 28 through August 3.
This program is open to all youth ages 12 to 15 years old who reside within Cambria County. Participation is free and modeled after the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. Cadets arrive on Sunday afternoon and stay on campus until Graduation on Saturday, August 3.
Media reporters and photographers are invited to capture the 2019 camp.
Cadets will try to conquer the newly constructed obstacle course on the College’s campus Monday at 4 p.m. and Wednesday at 3 p.m. On Friday at 8:00 a.m., the Pennsylvania Game Commission will give a live animal demonstration with a live, sedated black bear (if possible). The SERT team and Mounted Unit will be on campus at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
