Cresson, Pa. – Mount Aloysius College has announced that it will host an esports camp this summer in partnership with The Esports Company. The camp is focused mostly on the marketing and production aspects of esports, and is geared toward students going into 7th grade through incoming high school seniors. The camp will be held on the Mount Aloysius College campus July 12 – 14.

“Camp attendees will be given freedom to follow their passions and interests through this camp. They will not be playing video games, but instead learning what makes the industry what it is today. The camp will showcase the technological aspects of Esports while maintaining an inclusive, hands-on experience,” said Seth Mason, founder and chief marketing officer of The Esports Company.

The three-day camp will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at 3:00 p.m. each day. The cost to sign up is $150 for early birds and $200 general admission. This price includes lunch every day and a swag bag that includes a t-shirt, folder, notebook, pen, lanyard, and more.

Day three of the camp will feature a LAN event between The Esport Company (TEC) Amateur players in Overwatch and Rocket League which will be live-streamed on all social media platforms to be viewed around the world. Through this event, students will be able to see the skills they learned in days one and two of the camp in action.
