Cresson, Pa. — The Mount Aloysius College Comic Book Club hosts its fourth annual MAC Charity Comic Con on Saturday, November 9, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Charity Comic Con will be held in the College’s  Bertschi Center and Technology Commons. The event is open to the public.

 There will be something for all ages at the Charity Comic Con.  Numerous vendors of comic books, pop culture, fantasy, and sci-fi merchandise will attend the event.  Attendees can expect feature games, costume competitions, video game contests, basket raffle, and special programming for kids.

The day will also include academic presentations. Dr. Danny Anderson of Mount Aloysius will host a live podcast on “The Ethics of the Multiverse,” Dakota Steele will be presenting on how the new Joker movie is a psychological study, and many more. At 6 p.m. a screening of Labyrinth will be shown and the public is welcome.

All proceeds will benefit Child’s Play, an organization that provides entertainment and support for children in hospitals. Tickets are available in Cosgrave Student Center leading up to the event.
