Cresson, Pa. – In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Mount Aloysius College women’s lacrosse team went above and beyond for those who have served our country.  The 16-member team raised $550 through a t-shirt sale, as well as collected boxes of food, hygiene, and health supplies for Operation Support Our Troops.

Operation Support Our Troops is a non-profit organization that supports military service members, both stationed abroad and those who have returned home, by supplying them with resources, education, and comfort to express gratitude for their many sacrifices. These contributions benefit military personnel in our community and beyond.

“This is the second year the lacrosse team has completed this service project; we are appreciative of continued support from the Mount Aloysius community for our veterans and active duty military,” said Danielle O’Leary, Senior Woman Administrator and Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at the Mount. “This project means a lot to our team and we are proud to be part of a community that supports our loved ones.”
