Our Mission
The Advisory Board for Multicultural Affairs at Mount Aloysius College promotes inclusivity and diversity for our community. Everyone is welcome on campus, no matter their race, religion, gender, or sexuality. The Sisters of Mercy list racism, oppression of women, mistreatment of immigrants, and lack of solidarity among people among their most critical concerns. It is the mission of the students, faculty, and staff on the Advisory Board for Multicultural Affairs to address these concerns, and to do our part to bring about positive change, both at Mount Aloysius and in the world.
Our Goals: Diversity, Inclusivity, Unity.
- To enhance a culture where everyone is welcomed, respected, and valued.
- To support all students by promoting diversity, expression, free speech, and an open exchange of ideas.
- To educate through a more diverse educational system, allowing all students an opportunity to thrive and enrich our campus community.
- To host inclusive events on campus that celebrate diversity and unity, and that strengthen the campus community.
