Get ready for Welcome Weekend!

  • Friday, August 27th- Move in Day!
    • 11am-2pm: Students move in (staggered- you will sign up for a time). Lunch for students and families available in Cosgrave Dining Hall.
    • 1pm-4pm: Pop-in Parent Retreat with Campus Ministry in Hospitality Lounge.
    • 11am-3pm: Receive ID Cards from Campus Police in Cosgrave Student Center
    • 4pm: New Student Floor Meetings with Resident Assistants (residents only)
    • 4-7pm: Receive ID Cards from Campus Police in Cosgrave Student Center
    • 5-6:30pm: Dinner in Cosgrave Dining Hall. All new students invited- residents and commuters eat for free! Join MAC Faculty!
    • 7:00pm: Opening Welcome – Outdoor Location TBD. All new students invited and encouraged to attend!
    • 7:30pm: Opening keynote with Tom from Swift Kick. Outdoor Location TBD. – meet your peers, laugh, and get ready for an amazing journey at Mount Aloysius!
    • 8:30pm: Ice cream social
  • Satuday, August 28th- Outdoor Adventure Day!
    • 11:30am: Brunch in Cosgrave Dining Hall
    • 12:30pm: Students Leave Ihmsen Circle for respective Outdoor Adventure Day activities:
      • Paddleboarding off campus, hiking off campus, hiking at Mountie Trail, outdoor yoga on campus
        4:30pm: Dinner in Cosgrave Dining Hall
    • 8:00pm: Bonfire outside of McAuley Hall with s’mores, chips, drinks, etc.
  • Sunday, August 29th
    • 11:30am: Brunch in Cosgrave Dining Hall
    • 1:00pm-4:00pm: Find classes with Orientation Leaders. Meet in Ihmsen Circle (new students sign up for a time)
    • 1:00-4:00pm: Yard games, gaga ball, volleyball, and disc golf available throughout campus
    • 2pm: Soccer Scrimmage vs. St. Vincent College at Soccer Fields
    • 4:30pm: Dinner in Cosgrave Dining Hall
    • 6:00pm: Floor Meetings with Resident Assistants (returning students)
    • 7:00pm: Mass in the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel
    • 8:00pm: Pizza with Padre with Campus Ministry
    • 8:30/9pm: Cookies and Milk delivered to residence halls from Campus Ministry

Stop by the Campus Police Office in Cosgrave 104 to get your picture taken for your Student ID- You will need to bring your license or another photo ID to your appointment.  If no officers are in the office, call 814-886-6327 and someone will assist you.

For parking permits, please bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration.  You will also be given an opportunity to complete this on your first day of orientation.

Fill out the FERPA Waiver form, look at the Academic Calendar and review your course requirements in the College Catalog on the Registrar’s page.

  • Once you register for classes, you will find your Student ID number on your schedule. Enter that number here with your last name to get your email information.
  • Access your email.
  • Sign up for the MAC Alert System by logging into the MAC Portal, clicking on the HELP tab, and choosing MAC Alerts.
  • Sign up for your Campus Parking Pass. (when you pick it up you will need your license, registration, and payment of $40)

Pay your tuition bill

  • You can check your bill on line.  All financial requirements must be met prior to the start of classes.Your invoice will be available on-line.  You can access your bill through the portal page or by accessing your account on This is the same site that you use to review your schedule and your grades.

Mount Aloysius College and its representatives on occasion take photographs and videos for use in publications, videos, websites, news media, social media, or other recruitment or promotional materials. Subjects include but are not limited to, its students, faculty and staff, in situations appropriate to the image of an academic institution. This serves as public notice of the College’s intent to do so and as a release of permission to the College to use such images as it deems fit. Students who object to the use of their photographs have the right to withhold their release by completing a form in the Director of Communications’ Office.
