While we have a variety of events planned throughout the weekend for the entire Mount Aloysius Community, we’ve highlighted a few specific events that are either specific to your reunion class or we believe you’ll enjoy.

Alumni who graduated in years ending in a “4” or “9” are celebrating a special milestone anniversary. We hope that you’ll plan to attend Alumni & Homecoming Weekend, October 18 – 20, as our special guests.

Reunion Volunteers

We’re looking for volunteers to elevate our class reunions.  Alumni from class years celebrating a reunion are needed to assist with outreach, planning, and to help during the various reunion events.  If you’re interested in connecting with classmates on behalf of the College, contributing ideas to make the celebrations even better, or assisting at reunion events during Alumni & Homecoming Weekend, please contact Jaimie Steel-Radovanic at 814-886-6627 or via email at

Friday, October 18

4:30 – 6:30 PM Oktoberfest Alumni-Employee Social Proudly sponsored by Mount Aloysius’ Staff Council, this festive event offers a fantastic opportunity for alumni and employees to reconnect, while enjoying some fall-themed treats and beverages.
6:30 PM Class of 1974 50th Reunion Happy Hour Members of the Class of 1974 are invited to reconnect for a happy hour at Woody’s Lodge Winery in nearby Ashville, PA

Saturday, October 19

 11:30 AM A Comfortable Cup of Tea Learn the history of Mount Aloysius, the Religious Sisters of Mercy, and Mother Catherine McAuley (Foundress of the Sisters of Mercy). Attendees will be provided tea and a small lunch menu. Registration is limited to 40.
 1:00 PM Campus Tour Starting at the Fall-Themed Tailgate, alumni will enjoy a guided walking tour to see familiar spaces and discover recent campus updates.
 2:30 PM Paint & Sip Class Alumni and guests can unwind at this Paint and Sip event, where they’ll enjoy a guided painting session of a picturesque Mount Aloysius fall-themed scene led by a local professional artist. Admission costs $15 per person, covering all painting supplies and a selection of wine (for those 21+). Limited space available.
5 PM Alumni Reunion Reception The Alumni Reunion Reception is a special event exclusively for those celebrating Milestone Reunions (all classes ending in 4 or 9) and our Golden Graduates (alumni who graduated 50+ years ago).
6 PM  Alumni Recognition Dinner All alumni and guests are invited to this seated dinner program, as we celebrate Milestone Reunions (all classes ending in 4 or 9) and recognize our distinguished alumni award winners.

10 AM Mass celebrated by Fr. Justin Treon ’15, ’17 Celebrate Mass in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel with Mount Aloysius alumnus, Father Justin Treon ’15, ’17.
11:30 AM Brunch Following Mass, we will be offering a light brunch accompanied by a mimosa bar.

$5 per person.

As we prepare to celebrate your upcoming graduation milestone, we invite the Class of 1974 to submit information to be included in our memory book publication.  Submissions will be compiled and an electronic booklet will be shared with all those who participate following Alumni & Homecoming Weekend.

Cresson and Mount Aloysius College are located just off U.S. Route 22, about 13 miles west of Altoona and 30 miles north of Johnstown. The city of Pittsburgh is about 90 miles to the west. We’re very easy to find. Just follow the signs near the Cresson exits on U.S. 22.
