American Sign Language/English Interpreting (ASL/EI) Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2021, this scholarship is the result of many generous donors on Giving Tuesday 2020 and various donors throughout the year.  The first ASL endowed scholarship at Mount Aloysius provides financial assistance to a full-time student enrolled in the ASL/EI Program. Criteria: Full-time student enrolled in the ASL Program Financial need as determined by Financial Aid Office guidelines Final selection authority shall be with the Financial Aid Committee

Joe & Corinne Dox Endowed Scholarship for Veterans

The Dox family established this scholarship in 2022 to support students who have served in the military.  This scholarship provides financial support for honorably discharged veterans. Leonard M. Volk Memorial Scholarship

The Volk family established this scholarship in 2020, in memory of Leonard M. Volk, Sr., beloved husband and father. Leonard, a long-time educator and administrator retired from Ferndale Area School District and started a second career working at Mount Aloysius College and retired in 2002.  This scholarship provides financial support for students who are graduates of Ferndale High School. Sister Eric Marie Setlock RSM Scholarship

The Sisters of Mercy of the Mid-Atlantic established this scholarship in 2020 to honor Sr. Eric Marie Setlock, RSM, who served in various capacities at Mount Aloysius for many years.  Sister Eric helped and counseled many Mount students, faculty, and staff throughout the years with sensitivity and always with a compassionate response to their needs.  Her heart remains with Mount Aloysius and her scholarship will help those most in need. This scholarship began in 2022 to honor Sr. Ruth Ann Fox, a long time friend of Joan Ward Mullaney.  It was made possible from a gift directed to Mount Aloysius College in the will of Joan Ward Mullaney through the Sisters of the Americas Mid-Atlantic Community. Dr. Kenneth Lansing established this scholarship in 2020 to honor his wife, Alice who passed in 2001.  Their daughter, Dr. Laura Lansing, has been a Mount Aloysius Professor of Psychology for many years and cares deeply for our students.  This scholarship provides support for students with financial need.
