The friends and family of Adam DePiro established this scholarship in 2019 in memory of Adam.  Adam graduated from Mount Aloysius with a bachelor’s degree in History/Political Science and returned for his secondary teaching certificate in 2009.  While attending Mount Aloysius, Adam was one of the founding members and chapter president of the PSEA and a member of Delta Sigma Epsilon.  He devoted his life to teaching and maintained a positive attitude even though he fought a long battle with brain cancer.  Adam enjoyed his time at Mount Aloysius and before he passed his wish was to establish a scholarship to help education majors.  Adam lost his battle in 2019.  This scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing a degree in education.
