This scholarship is named after Alissa Hoover who was a surgical technology student who was killed in an automobile accident on her way home from clinicals at Bedford UPMC hospital.

Criteria:

  1. Enrollment in the second semester of the second year of Surgical Technology Program
  2. Top academic achievement based on the student’s grade point average in ST104.01, Surgical Technology Lecture
  3. The student with the highest G.P.A. will be awarded the scholarship
