This scholarship was established in 2022 in memory of Bernadette, a Mount Aloysius nursing graduate. Bernie earned her AS in Nursing, 1972 and her BSN in 2006. She enjoyed a long career in the Nursing field and was a founding staff member of the Bon Secours/Altoona Regional Health System Institute of Sleep Medicine. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing a Major, Minor, or Graduate Degree in a science-based curriculum.

Criteria:

  1. Full-time student working toward a degree
  2. Financial need as determined by financial aid guidelines
  3. Student pursuing a Major, Minor, or Graduate Degree in a science-based curriculum.
