This scholarship, established in 2001, is the result of Dr. M. Jayne Kimlin’s vision for the support of Catholic Higher Education at Mount Aloysius College, as well as that of her family. Dr. Kimlin received an associate degree in chemistry from Mount Aloysius in 1944. She pursued advanced degrees at the Pennsylvania State University. Most of her life was dedicated to the teaching profession. Dr. Kimlin was a loyal, involved and generous alumna of Mount Aloysius College. She served on various committees and at the time of her death in November 1998 she was a member of the President’s Advisory Council.

  • Have a declared major in a physical science program such as physical therapy, nursing, occupational therapy, surgical technology, etc.
