This scholarship was established in 1975 to honor Sister Mary deSales Farley, a teacher at Bishop Guilfoyle High School in Altoona from 1928-1936. She became principal of Mount Aloysius Academy in 1936 and eventually founded Mount Aloysius Junior College. She served as the College’s president for several years. Sr. deSales Farley died in 1972.
