During the summer of 2019, we will host two sessions of summer camp. Session I will take place in June and Session II will take place in July. The option to sign up for one or both camps will be available to all. By signing up to participate in both sessions, a camper will receive a discounted rate.

Topics and skills that will be covered and worked on during the Skills Camp include:

  • Ball-handling
  • Shooting
  • Movement away from the ball
  • Basic Offensive Concepts
  • Man-to-man defense
  • General skill development
  • Gameplay situations

Both camp sessions will have in-camp competitions, including shooting competitions, skill competitions, and multiple game-like competitions.

Session I – June 24th-27th

9 am-12 pm
Open to both boys and girls, ages 6-14
Cost: $100

If you sign up and participate in both sessions, there is a $60 discount, both camps for $200.

Session II – July 29th-August 1st

9 am—3 pm
Open to both boys and girls, ages 6-14

*Due to Session II being held through lunch, campers will be responsible for providing their own lunch. There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Payment is due to Coach Cabrera before the start of camp.

Coaching Staff

Head Coach Will Cabrera

Picture of Coach CabreraWill Cabrera just recently finished his second season as Head Coach at Mount Aloysius, where he led the Mounties to their first winning season since 2013 which featured the program’s first ever appearance in the AMCC semifinals as well as the programs first time hosting a conference tournament game. He is responsible for bringing in a recruiting class which featured 2 time All-AMCC guard Julian Stover and reigning AMCC “Newcomer of the Year” Carlos Palacio.

Prior to coming to the Mount, Cabrera held roles as lead coach at Hershey Christian High School and Impact Preparatory as well as assistant coaching positions at Mansfield University and Messiah College. A native of Bolivia, Coach Cabrera spent several summers helping coach the Bolivian Men’s National Basketball Team.
