Cresson, Pa. – The Mount Aloysius College Theatre Department will present “Urinetown” for their spring show. The show runs from March 31 through April 2. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on the Alumni Hall stage.

“Urinetown” satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, and more. Mark Hollmann wrote the show’s music and lyrics, and Greg Kotis wrote the book.

“I really think that this show is something where the whole family can take a moment to laugh together,” said Dan Evers, the show’s director. “Especially right now, we need to laugh. It’s clean but campy humor, and I think a lot of people can find enjoyment in it.”

Tickets are available at the door. Donations will be put towards the Tim Michrina Endowed Scholarship Fund, in memory of theatre alum Tim Michrina.
